Calamity!

Disaster once again reared its ugly head at ten south yesterday. Residents still recovering from last week's wind storm and related power outage faced a new threat from above as a forgotten ladder tore a path of destruction through lives and property.

The forgotten ladder which had raised concerns for several days leaned precariously against the antique rear structure of ten south. Braced only with faith and a rope holding it to utility lines the ladder braved numerous breezes, but nothing like the raging gusts of Wednesday morning.

At exactly 8:03 am the unthinkable happened. A gale force wind from the south swept in and picked up this 3 story ladder and slammed it into the building. Below is a timeline of this chain reaction disaster:

1. After breaking free from its leaning position the ladder strikes a 3rd floor air conditioner, ricochetting into a fragile window and into apartment #10. The ladder's unexpected entry struck a priceless piece of china sitting on the window sill.

2. Unable to balance on the shattered window debris the ladder tumbles 40 feet to the ground slamming into a beautiful yellow Mustang GT. The force of the impact shattered the Mustang's window into a million pieces and pierced the hood of this once magnificent vehicle.

Cleanup is ongoing and local community leaders have declared a state of emergency as we cope with this horrendous event.

Wow

Tears. This is hilarious. I love the depiction of Reggie's Mustang. I am still not sure, however, how in the hell the ladder managed to swing all the way around the building and hit my AC unit, but whatever...
