Cary & Colonial Street Sign Succumbs To Gravity

The leaning tower of Carytown also known as the streetpost at the intersection of Cary and Colonial finally succumbed to the forces of gravity today. The antique signpost structure was a frequent victim of vehicle impacts and leaned diagonally for several years. Eyewitnesses report the sign spontaneously collapsed on to the sidewalk.

No injuries were reported in this catastrophic structural failure.

I move and things go awry! Sounds like the collapse would have been a sight to see. Glad there weren't any injuries. Could have been catastrophic...
