Updates On Kensington Ave Death Investigation

CBS 6 follows up on the ongoing investigation into the death of Jessica Pasqual on Kensington Ave:

It's been more than two weeks since the body of 20-year-old Jessica Pasqual was found in the parking lot outside of her Kensington Avenue apartment.

Richmond investigators tell CBS 6 that it may be several more weeks before toxicology reports come back so the state medical examiner can determine whether Pasqual was dead when she was partially run over by a vehicle.

It is so upsetting that there has been no news related to who stole this beautiful girls' life! Her family must be going crazy! Has anyone heard anything new?

Spoke to someone with RPD last friday regarding this and the ME's report has still not been released to the public. Something about previous injuries complicating autopsy so they had to review previous medical history for a baseline before a final report can be made.

Has anything been said about that guy's "alibi" that he walked her to a friend's house? What did that friend have to say? Have they matched the tire tracks to a car? Are the injuries something that could indicate domestic violence or something else? This case is getting weirder by the minute and we would all like to know. Hard to believe it can take this long but Richmond is full of crime.... so sad. Hope the police resolve it soon.

Please keep updating and please be sure to spell her name correctly - it is Jessica Pascual. Now, was the car that ran over her ever found? This story is such a tragedy. The family, community and friends all need closure.

Thanks for keeping us updated on this story. I've had a really hard time finding any news stories about it. I haven't seen anything in the RTD since it happened. Thanks for getting the info from that article (though the link didn't work for me). Please continue to update as you learn more.
